In his role as MD, Richard is responsible for the growth and success of Acceleration clients across Africa, Europe and the Middle East.

He works closely with these clients to develop their marketing and digital strategies, and has a deep understanding of the digital landscape including data architecture, analytics platforms, social media and ad serving.

Richard joined Acceleration in 2000 after working at Saatchi & Saatchi and Ogilvy Mather. He has worked on many leading brands including Unilever, Toyota, Emirates, M-Net, FNB and Sun International. Richard’s extensive experience has seen him working with publisher, agency and marketing clients to enhance their online businesses.

He holds a BA Hons in Communications from the University of Johannesburg and is a regular speaker at industry events across the MEA region.
